Celebrating Our VAMS Volunteers – On Stage, In Studio, and Beyond

Join Us in Celebrating You!

National Volunteer Week is coming up from April 27 to May 3, and we want to recognize the amazing impact our volunteers make — both behind the scenes and on stage.

Your time, creativity, and commitment help us keep VAMS programs, performances, and studio sessions thriving. Whether you support our events, help with sound and setup, or lend your talents to our music and media, we’re grateful for everything you do.

We’re hosting a Virtual Volunteer Celebration on Wednesday, May 1, at 4:30 PM, and we hope you can join us! We’ll recognize our Volunteer of the Year Award recipients and celebrate this year’s theme: “Volunteers Make Waves!”

🗓 Save the Date: May 1 at 4:30 PM

We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Bailey Gutsche

Bailey joined VAMS as a volunteer music instructor and quickly became a meaningful part of our music community. From customizing sheet music to connecting with musicians across Canada, Bailey brings heart, creativity, and care into every session. As she says, “It costs $0.00 to treat someone with respect” — a philosophy that shines through in her work.
