“The Stubborn Baker” is a baking business started by Jessica Kruger.
In the first part of our interview with Jessica, she talks about the origin of her business name. She also dispels some myths about the words “paraplegic” and “quadriplegic, and shares her experience with adapted sport, and other hobbies she enjoys.
“Baking was something that I did before I had my accident, and then something that I really leaned into after the accident, to sort of fill some of the gaps that I had lost in some of the hobbies I couldn’t do any more.”
